About Me
I live with my husband and loveable dog, Raffy, alongside a leafy koala corridor on Brisbane's Northside.
From an early age, a love of reading plus a vivid imagination instilled in me a desire to tell my own stories. C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien opened my eyes to the fantastical, Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle to clever mysteries, and the chills gained from Wuthering Heights, The Turn of the Screw, and Rebecca ignited a passion for suspense. Combined with a keen interest in genealogy, I now enjoy writing compelling stories inspired by lives and events from the past. I am also the founder and co-ordinator of a long-running and successful local writers group, Writers Rendezvous.
Having published three books in my Abby Eaton Mystery series, as well as a coming-of-age thriller, Flames to a Moth, co-written with memoir writer, Gary Horwood, I am currently writing a gritty suspense thriller set in the rugged landscape of Yorkshire, England, and a tragedy-to-triumph retelling of my grandmother's heartbreaking childhood during the 1920s.

I publish under my imprint: BLOODWOOD PRESS
